Handicapped boys of poor families from the towns and villages always remain a neglected lot. Left to their misfortune, they live either as a parasites on the family or as a beggar on the streets. Sewa Bharati decided to give succor to some of these by establishing hostels at Bhopal and Khandwa. In these Hostels, whereas the Warden looks after their daily problems and routines, qualified teachers provide them personal coaching in different subjects. In order to develop their hidden talent, a Music Teacher is also appointed, who gives instrumental and vocal music training. Further, keeping in view of the fast growing importance of computers, the students are also exposed to computer knowledge through different programmes in the hostel building itself. A plan has been prepared for a barrier free Hostel building with modern equipments and facilities. Accordingly, residential block has already been completed. Construction of kitchen, dinning hall, residential block for the warden, physiotherapy centre will be completed in due course.
